How do I know if my deck needs staining?
If water no longer beads on the surface, boards look dry/gray, or you see uneven fading, it’s usually time for a maintenance coat.
Do you pressure wash before staining?
When appropriate, yes. We clean the surface to remove dirt and mildew, then allow proper dry time before applying stain.
How long does the project take?
Most decks and fences can be completed in 1–3 days depending on size, condition, and dry times.
Can you stain in wet weather?
Stain needs the right conditions to cure. We schedule around rain and moisture to protect the finish and avoid adhesion issues.
Do you stain new wood right away?
New wood often needs time to dry and acclimate. We’ll assess moisture and recommend the right timing for best results.
What stain sheen or opacity should I choose?
